Memoir Q&A with Rochester Beacon
The link that follows is a recent post on the ‘Rochester Beacon’ (Rochester NY) about my memoir. It was based on responses to several questions that the Beacon Managing Editor developed and explains my journey as an ‘Oblivious American”. They chose to use the term “white man” and I advised them that I purposely did not use the word “white” in the title since that I felt it would be redundant. (The Beacon is a digital publication and community forum that provides an in-depth look at the region’s complex challenges. One of a growing number of nonprofit journalism efforts around the world, the Rochester Beacon publishes news articles, analysis and commentaries that shed light on issues of public interest.)
